This Privacy Policy describes how WarPulse LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with all WarPulse products and services ("WarPulse Services"), including but not limited to: the Dual Degrees mobile application, Dual Degrees Cloud ("DD Cloud"), the Odin Discord bot, and the WarPulse Community. By using any WarPulse Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
Note: Certain sections below (1.2, 1.3, 2) reference features specific to Dual Degrees and DD Cloud. Sections that are not product-specific apply to all WarPulse Services.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Collected Automatically
When you use any WarPulse Service, certain information may be collected automatically, including:
- Anonymous Usage Data: We collect aggregated, anonymized analytics data through a third-party analytics service to understand how our Services are used and to improve their performance and features. This may include session duration, feature usage patterns, crashes and performance metrics, and device type and operating system version.
- Location Data (Dual Degrees only): If you grant location permissions, Dual Degrees collects your device's location data solely to provide weather information for your current location. Location data is transmitted to weather data providers to retrieve forecasts and is used in anonymized form for analytics purposes. Location data is not stored on our servers or associated with any personally identifiable information.
1.2 DD Cloud Account Information
DD Cloud is a free optional service that allows you to sync your settings, saved cities, and other preferences across multiple devices and back up your data. If you choose to create a DD Cloud account, we collect:
- Email Address: Used to create and authenticate your DD Cloud account and to send account-related communications (e.g., password resets).
- Username: A display name you choose when creating your DD Cloud account.
- User Data: Your app settings, saved cities, and other preferences that you choose to sync or back up via DD Cloud. This data is stored on our servers solely to provide the sync and backup functionality.
Creating a DD Cloud account is entirely optional. If you do not create an account, your data continues to be stored only on your device as described in Section 4.
1.3 Subscription and Purchase Information
If you subscribe to Dual Degrees+ or make any in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or Google through Google Play (Android). We do not directly collect, process, or store your payment information (such as credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID / Google account credentials).
We may receive limited, non-financial information from Apple or Google related to your transaction, including:
- Whether you have an active subscription (subscription status);
- The type of subscription plan (e.g., monthly or annual);
- Transaction identifiers for the purpose of validating your subscription; and
- Trial eligibility status.
This information is used solely to verify your subscription status and deliver the appropriate features. It is not used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service you purchased.
1.4 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your contacts, photos, or other personal files;
- Health, financial, or biometric data; or
- Information from other apps on your device.
2. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:
- Providing Services: Usage data and, where applicable, location data are used to deliver the features of each WarPulse Service.
- Providing Weather Services (Dual Degrees): Location data is used to deliver accurate, location-specific weather forecasts and conditions.
- Improving Our Services: Anonymous usage data helps us understand how features are used, diagnose issues, and prioritize improvements across all WarPulse products.
- Subscription Fulfillment (Dual Degrees): Subscription status information is used to verify your entitlement to Dual Degrees+ features and to ensure a seamless experience across devices.
- DD Cloud Sync & Backup (Dual Degrees): If you use DD Cloud, your email address and username are used to authenticate your account. Your synced settings, saved cities, and preferences are stored on our servers to provide cross-device sync and backup functionality.
- App Stability: Crash reports and performance data help us identify and resolve technical issues across all WarPulse Services.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share limited, anonymized data with the following categories of service providers solely to operate our Services:
- Weather Data Providers (Dual Degrees): Your location coordinates are transmitted to third-party weather APIs to retrieve forecast data. These providers receive only the location coordinates necessary to fulfill the request.
- Analytics Providers: Anonymized usage and performance data is processed by a third-party analytics provider in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Cloud Infrastructure Providers: If you use DD Cloud, your account information and synced data are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. These providers process your data only as necessary to provide the storage and sync functionality, under appropriate data processing agreements.
- Apple and Google (Dual Degrees): Subscription and purchase transactions are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). Their handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and App Store Terms of Service, or Google's Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms of Service, respectively.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
4. Data Storage and Security
Each WarPulse Service may store data locally on your device (e.g., preferences and settings). If you create a DD Cloud account, your settings, saved cities, and preferences are also stored on our secure cloud servers to enable cross-device sync and backup. We protect this data using industry-standard security measures.
Analytics data processed through our third-party analytics provider is stored and secured in accordance with their security practices and data protection standards.
While we take reasonable measures to protect information associated with our Services, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained in accordance with our analytics provider's default retention settings and policies. Subscription validation data is retained only for as long as necessary to verify your subscription status.
DD Cloud account data (email address, username, and synced user data) is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your DD Cloud account, your account data and synced data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Local data stored on your device (such as saved locations and preferences) persists until you delete the App or clear its data.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access will limit Dual Degrees' ability to provide weather data for your current location, but the app will remain functional for manually added locations.
- Analytics Opt-Out: You may limit analytics data collection by adjusting your device's privacy settings (e.g., enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" or similar options on iOS, or adjusting ad personalization settings on Android).
- Deleting Local Data: You can delete locally stored data by uninstalling the relevant WarPulse app from your device.
- Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel your Dual Degrees+ subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android).
- DD Cloud Account: You can update or delete your DD Cloud account at any time within the Dual Degrees app. Deleting your account will remove your email address, username, and all synced data from our servers within 30 days.
- Data Requests: If you have questions about the data associated with your use of any WarPulse Service, or wish to request deletion of any data we may hold, please contact us at legal@warpulse.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at legal@warpulse.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
8. International Users
Our Services are operated from the United States. If you are accessing any WarPulse Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. We endeavor to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, our practices, or applicable laws. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. We will notify you of material changes through the relevant Service or via update notes where practicable. Your continued use of any WarPulse Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
